The Flourish Story
Sometimes, the things we search for but can’t find become the things we are meant to build.
Flourish began with a simple but deeply personal mission: to find a space where my son — and children like him — could play, connect, and be themselves without being overwhelmed, misunderstood, or asked to “fit the mold.”
As a special educator for over 12 years, I’ve watched brilliant, curious, joyful students navigate environments that weren’t designed for their minds, their bodies, or their ways of experiencing the world. I’ve seen caregivers advocating endlessly, searching for accessible programs, inclusive events, and spaces where their children could thrive — not just be tolerated.
When I couldn’t find that space, I knew it was time to create one.
Flourish is the answer to that question.
A space built for neurodivergent children, teens, and families — by someone who sees them, understands them, and believes they deserve joy and belonging today, not “one day.”
